The Cheshire, Connecticut Democratic Town Committee

The Cheshire Democratic Town Committee strives to build a better Cheshire by assisting local Democrats who want to run for office, serve as appointed town Board and Commission members, or work on campaigns for town, state, and federal candidates. We believe in preparing for a better future through careful planning and hard work. We are committed to the continued growth of Cheshire as one of the best places in the country to live, work and raise a family. Meetings are held the first Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. at the Cheshire Senior Center unless conditions warrant a virtual meeting. All registered Democrats are welcome to attend. Monthly CDTC meeting
Meetings are usually held on the first Tuesday of the month. Our next meeting is Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2026 at 7:00 pm at the Cheshire Senior Center, 240 Maple Ave. All registered Democrats are welcome to attend.

Early Voting Begins Oct. 19!

This year, Connecticut voters have three options for voting. Make your plan to vote now!

1. Election Day - Tuesday, November 3, 2026
Time: 6:00 am to 8:00 pm
Location: Vote at your regular polling place.

2. Early Voting In Person - at Cheshire Town Hall
Dates: Monday, October 19- Sunday, November 1
Times: 10 am - 6:00 pm INCLUDING WEEKENDS!
Extended Hours: Tuesday, Oct. 27 and Thurs. Oct. 29 from 8:00 am - 8:00 pm
Location: Early voting takes place at Cheshire Town Hall ONLY

3. Absentee Voting
Connecticut voters no longer need an excuse to vote using an absentee ballot. To request an absentee ballot, simply apply on the online portal on the Secretary of the State’s website.
